Burleigh Ortho Centre | Casual | 1-2 days per week

We're seeking a friendly and confident Dental Assistant to join our small, friendly and supportive team at our NEW Practice - Burleigh Ortho Centre!

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Dental Assistant who has a keen interest in Orthodontics and wants to learn more with an innovative Orthodontist at a brand new practice!

The successful candidate will work across 1-2 days per week on a Wednesday & Thursday with a view to more days at a later stage if desired.
  
A snapshot of the role

• Patient records maintenance;
• Patient care and management;
• High standards of infection control;
• Sterilising and instrument processes;
• Monitoring and ordering of supplies;
• Maintaining a clean and healthy clinical environment; and
• Room preparation.

What we are looking for in YOU!

• A passion for the dental industry and patient care;
• 1+ years experience in a dental assistant role essential;
• Prior exposure to Orthodontics desirable but not essential;
• Lots of empathy and a patient-centric approach;
• A warm, outgoing & friendly personality with the ability to build relationships easily;
• Ability to follow instruction and offer exceptional patient care;
• A positive attitude and the ability to be flexible & adaptable;
• Experience using the Microsoft suite;
• An ability to handle pressure, take initiative and multi-task;
